North Valley Solar Power
For Northern California PG&E Homeowners

Solar didn't die.
Ownership did.

The federal tax credit ended. But a new prepaid solar program lets qualifying PG&E homeowners pay once, or finance through Travis Credit Union, and own their system outright by year 6. No renting power forever.

Here's what actually changed in 2026

The 30% federal tax credit expired. That's real. What most homeowners haven't heard: a prepaid ownership path opened up right behind it, built specifically so a PG&E homeowner can stop renting power and start owning a system.

What Ended

The federal residential tax credit that made solar loans and leases attractive expired December 31, 2025. Old-style leases still have you paying a power company forever and owning nothing.

What's Available Now
